Stainless Steel

Introduction of Stainless Steel

Steel is an alloy with iron as its main ingredient. Stainless steel refers to an "iron alloy" with a minimum chromium content of 10.5 WT%, a maximum carbon content of 1.2 WT%, or a chromium content of more than 10%. The biggest difference between stainless steel and ordinary steel is that it is not easy to corrode and rust. It can be seen everywhere in the fields of construction, transportation, energy, packaging, home appliances and industry. Various fields have also begun to use stainless steel materials for 3D printing. As shown in Fig. 1, the mini-hydrocyclones (MHCs) designed and fabricated in stainless steel with 3D printing, had the potential for large-scale application in microplastic separation for industrial and municipal waste.

Products

As a professional 3D printing technology company, CD BioSciences provides a wide range of high-quality 3D printing materials which are suitable for different application areas in various industries. Metal 3D printing is developing rapidly in recent years, and stainless steel is a common metal material. Stainless steel has the advantages of high strength, high temperature resistance, outstanding welding performance, easy plastic processing, moderate conductivity and thermal conductivity. Stainless steel is one of the cheapest 3D metal printing materials. Compared with the traditional stainless steel processing technology, 3D printing can create parts that are not limited by geometric shapes, shorten the product development and manufacturing cycle, also can quickly and efficiently produce small batches of complex parts.

CD BioSciences' stainless steel materials are suitable for a variety of 3D printers and technologies, and their key indicators have passed strict quality inspection.
